Our Mission

Mission asks the questions, What are we here for? Why did God call us and what has He specifically asked us to do? The Mission Statement is then the filter through which all other questions are asked because it speaks to purpose and goal. Jesus gave His disciples a clear commission to make disciples and an unambiguous command to love. Out of that and asking the Lord the big questions above, we have the following statement:

Bidford Baptist Church exists …

“To see God’s kingdom come – Where the King is honoured, His people are prepared (empowered, equipped and mobilised) and His purposes are advanced (the gospel is preached, the lost are found, the sick healed, captives set free and the broken made whole).”

Matthew 6:33 – But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well
